WebRen SRL is committed to making webren.dev accessible to as many people as possible, whatever their abilities and whatever they use to browse. That matters here more than most places: accessibility to WCAG 2.2 Level AA is one of the six guarantees we make on every site we build, so this one has to hold to the same standard.
Measures we take
- Accessibility is part of the design and build of every page, not a check at the end.
- Every template is tested by keyboard alone, with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and with NVDA on Windows.
- Color contrast is checked against the AA ratios for text and interface elements.
- Motion is optional: the theme turns its animations off when your system asks for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion).
- Every link, button and form field has a visible focus style.
- There are no time limits, no auto-playing media and no flashing content.
- Forms have visible labels and clear error messages, and no CAPTCHA puzzles; spam is filtered with a hidden field instead.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They have three levels of conformance: A, AA and AAA. This site aims at WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
webren.dev is designed and built to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Every page is checked with automated testing tools and by hand, including using the site with a keyboard only.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you meet a barrier, or need any content in a different format, email [email protected] and tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 working days, and to fix anything we can fix.
Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
The site is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, on desktop and on a phone, and is tested with VoiceOver and NVDA. It should also work with other current screen readers, screen magnifiers and speech recognition software, though we have not tested every combination. It is not designed for browsers that are no longer maintained, such as Internet Explorer.
